The newest addition to Coram Deo Farm is this heifer (Demelza) and calf (Brutus). The calf will be ready for slaughter the fall of 2017 and the heifer will be a wonderful source of milk and butter. We are moving the heifer through the pasture and then sending the chickens in to clean up. This will help fertilize the field while providing the heifer and calf a rich source of fresh green grass. The farmer we purchased the heifer and calf from will mow part of our field for winter hay for the animals.
