On January 9th, 2016, a much needed work crew arrived from Christ The King Church in Belfast. We moved a heavy pile of hemlock timbers out of the field into the woods where the sugar shack is to be constructed. We also hauled trimmed tree branches from various spots throughout the forest to the sugar shack spot. This will be our hard wood source for heating the sap to boil into a delectable golden syrup.
